Evolution of Aerial Maps

It is a well-known fact that the layouts for geographical locations exist for many centuries. This is so because there are clay bars of the Babylonian civilization have been found which are considered as the earliest sign for existence of any such layout made. However, the earliest maps believed have depicted the whole world as flat land mass because the people at that time have no resources to find actual shape of the Earth. This very first map was found in Iraq in the year 1930.

While we can trace the chronicles of county maps, there are not much evidences from where does the aerial maps took place. This has probably came into existence soon after the arrival of photography.

However, it has been known that the very first photograph for celestial layout of a geographical location was taken from a hot air balloon in 1800s. And, first literal ethereal photograph was taken in 1858 over France. Unfortunately, these pictures no more exist. But, the celestial stills took in 1860 over Boston are still existing.

These days, one can have celestial view of educational institutions of a particular topographical area through airy school district maps. Also, there are custom maps as well which exist in today's world. These can be easily edited.
